- mahjong soul classroom. most players recommend starting out with mahjong soul before jumping into doman mahjong. the riichi mahjong tutorial in mahjong soul holds your hand through the confusing rules and is an easy way to learn the game.
- browser mahjong, bare-bones riichi mahjong browser game vs bots. this site isn't really orientated towards beginners to the game.
- i'm working on a guide specifically for doman mahjong...(i'm in pain)
- TLDR; doman mahjong = riichi mahjong. there are plenty of videos covering the basics of riichi but you really just have to play to learn and improve. ^_^

this is my personal house. i finished this build just after dawntrail released because i was so in love with the newly added rail-and-stile partition (which form the wall trim and open door 'frame' into the kitchen). the build changes slightly from day to nighttime; during the night the light fades from the windows to reveal rain falling (from waterfall partitions clipped into the wall). clothes are scattered on the floor, dirty dishes piled in the sink, and the house is otherwise messy and lived-in.

our free company house and the offical famfrit yaoi clubhouse. the idea behind the build is that our depreciating free company rented a home (hence the landlord special; pure white walls) and turned it into a frat house. the communal livingroom is scattered with papers, bottles, and empty takeout bags as each FC member squabbles over chore responsibility and leaves it for the next person to clean. the entrance to the fc workshop is marked with caution tape for privacy as our jewelery salvage business really begins to take off.
i've always loved scrolling the #ff14housing tag on twitter and looking through all the amazing builds other players come up with. it's very funny to look at a piece of furniture and realise that it's made of 16 different items floated together.
since taking a break from the game i've drifted away from a lot of the people i used to play with. so to meet more players i thought it would be fun to host a casual events on a somewhat monthly basis.
if you are interested in joining us for treasure maps, come to famfrit, lavender beds, 25th ward, plot number 22 (teleport to the wildflower stalls aetheryte in the lavender beds) at the scheduled time. you do not have to bring any maps of your own. you do not need to be maximum level, we can do lower level maps instead. the vibe is: being kind and having fun.
